What is and where can I find my sort code? 

Your bank branch sort code is located on the top right hand side of a cheque  and on the very bottom line of the cheque between the cheque number and the account number.

It will is a series of six numbers in pairs (00-00-00).

It will also appear on your statement and possibly on your debit card.
